Europe Disunited is Pointless

 

While most of the world is wrapped in the confusion of sorting the financial mess caused by greedy wizards some entities within the world framework are actually experiencing exceptional growth. One of these is India and their population is marching to the beat of an enlightened drummer so we may expect tremendous advances to their country in general. The US, Germany, France and Ireland to name a few are also experiencing growth albeit on a small scale but it is growth. Britain on the other hand is about two years behind and Spain and Italy are gasping for breath while Greece also seeks a lifeline that its people are not too happy about.

 

Curiously if we look at the US which was a similar entity with many states pandering to their uniqueness in the days of old prior to the Civil War and how they have enjoyed tremendous benefits by being united versus disunited. California, Florida or even New York are just as significant today in world economics as they always have been. There was and is a magical compendium of genii, industry, engineering and science among others that have aided the advancement to a Super Power.

 

There is no perfect social system apart from one where unity is at the core and mercy, justice and equality are hallmarks. By the way where does it exist on earth; the point is it does not but we have compromise and blindness and a vague degree of unity?

 

The arts, music and sport et al have always been instrumental in bridging borders without bias and please God shall always continue to do so. Now Europe unites with vigour for one of the greatest examples of talent search in the guise of the Eurovision where the entrants represent areas from the eastern most point of Russia to the most western point of Iceland. Onwards then north of Norway to the tip of Israel which is a huge distance in area encompassing diversity of race, creed, population and talent. However, Europe in general needs to awaken in the manner typified by the phrase: fish or cut bait!

 

Now imagine a world where that same landscape came together as one political, industrial and economic force and watch the vestiges of primitive mindsets evaporate into oblivion. For Europe to advance effectively while being a viable form there remains a necessity for old leadership concepts to be retired.

 

It seems pointless that the entity known as the:  ‘EU' is even in existence because it does not encompass all countries within its borders. Britain has one foot in and one foot out declining total commitment because of a fantasy of losing its importance. Then we also have the vestiges of a bygone era; royalty and its amazing stranglehold for survival in a bunch of countries.

 

We saw in the world wars where America came willingly to the rescue of European countries but did not learn from the examples of a unified approach as depicted by the US of A. America is the greatest example of a unified approach to growth on all scales and the rest of the world can learn from them; not regards to everything but to unity of purpose. The rest can be sorted out later by all economies if the mindset develops to do just that. India and China are forging ahead at an amazing pace but at what cost to humanity as life has varying degrees of value; especially female life!

 

There is no room in advanced growth and competitiveness for old style leadership formats to remain and it is time to relegate their ideology to the halls of museums where they belong. Life is not about economic growth per se but the combined growth of all factors with human growth at the top of the pyramid. Anything that displaces human growth to a lower level of importance is relegating advancement of our civilisation to a lesser value of regression which is not our true purpose. The universe is about growth and humans are the premier conduit for growth not the end or final product of perceived growth and metaphysical mysteries.

 

Individual countries like Britain, Russia, Greece, Israel or Moldova will not lose their entity in a European framework by totally committing to working in harmony for a more productive economy if they are honest about their self worth and applied value to any intended union. In fact the strengthening of their identity will be more emphasised as they will then be in a more comfortable position to focus on the most relevant and important issues or situations while benefiting from the mastermind concept of being a happy member in an example like the European Union or as seen in the American union of states: i.e. The USA.

 

Using the example of a contractor who chooses to join forces with sub-contractors in order to effectively deliver a high quality project and finished result will achieve more than the contractor who has the mindset that only he can do all things. The US is an example of the mastermind concept and if Europe is serious about its standing in world economies it too shall and would benefit by following a similar mastermind concept.

 

Yes it is nice for the old world of Europe to currently exist with quaint lifestyles to co-exist within a world where all the myriad borders will soon be outdated and it is folly to allow them to matter. Take Ireland for example where a ridiculous border has existed for too many years and many have died seeking its extermination, shame on the government allowing such deaths.

 

The minority of diehard loyalists wants to remain within a primitive mindset preventing unity of one country in one island and harbouring dissension between religions is a typical example of a ridiculous primitive backward thinking mindset. Israel and Palestine is another and there are numerous examples displaced around the world that need not be present in any form towards universal growth.

 

Royalty another example of a period that needs to be closeted with mothballs or encased within the casings on display in world museums and if we have learned anything from the US of A we should have learned the benefits of a united approach towards economic growth and even perhaps the depictions in waxwork museums of bygone era relics.

 

All we have to do is look at the price of gasoline in Europe and compare the price of gasoline in the US and wonder no more about the folly of a disunited Europe and the nonsensical approach to its union; or rather a fractionalized union. How long more will Europe enjoy the wonderful world of exorbitant fuel prices at the expense of its workforce? Comparing fuel in Ireland with fuel in America and the mind boggles with confusion of the logic of paying €8/gal versus a third of it in the US. Crazy beyond even the wildest intelligence and yet Europeans have accepted it as the norm and quietly or meekly utter no protests. If there are protests they are an imperceptible whimper and totally ignored by governments and authority figureheads, especially oil companies.

 

The government of India is suggesting to remove subsidies from its fuel supplies to the general public therefore the economy of India may not enjoy continued massive growth, or it may propel them to seek alternative energy sources. They are pretty advanced in alternative fuels compared to the rest of the world especially with electricity and bio-fuels with the Jatropha plant and other developments. They are worthy of seeking joint ventures with thereby reducing unnecessary research while benefiting from their respectable experiences.

 

The EU is a sad example of a people who look in the magical mirror of expectancy yet individual states decide they want their bread buttered on both sides by maintaining separate identities. Then at the same time fooling themselves that they are advancing because of at least on paper and that public building in Belgium where the validation that they do have members of some kind or form exists. Is it perhaps an ok philosophy to advance while in essence going backwards because of faulty perceptions?
